Duration
The duration of the Level 4 Assessor Coach Apprenticeship will be 15-17 months.
It is the responsibility of the employer to ensure every apprentice is given 20% of their paid hours as time to learn.
Qualification
Assessor Coach Apprenticeship Level 4. You will be required to take Functional Skills maths, English & ICT at Level 2 if you do not already hold the equivalent GCSE grade 4-9 or (old system A*-C), as well as a Level 1 Safeguarding qualification as part of the apprenticeship.
Job Role
The roles associated with this apprenticeship can be varied but are likely to include:
- Coach & assess vocational learners & employees
- Provide practical & technical support
- Engage learners in planning their individualised learning programme
Delivery
To help apprentices, there will be a variety in the ways they will learn:
- Workplace/workshop learning
- 1 to 1 support from Assessor to Apprentice
- Online learning environment to support learning throughout the Apprenticeship
- Professional and recognised qualification
Progression
Opportunity to progress onto a full teaching role within an education and training provider organisation or into roles involving the assessment and coaching of vocational learners.
