Duration
The duration of the HR Support Apprenticeship will be 12-18 months.
It is the responsibility of the employer to ensure every apprentice is given 20% of their paid hours as time to learn.
Qualification
Full HR Support Apprenticeship Level 3. You may be required to take Functional Skills maths and English at Level 2 if you do not already hold the equivalent GCSE grade 4-9 or (old system A*-C).
Job Role
The HR Support Apprenticeship is for those who are new to an HR role or are wanting to progress on their career journey to deliver front line assistance to managers and employees; providing advice on a wide range of issues, using company policy and current law.
Activities associated are likely to include:
- Using HR systems to keep records
- Working across teams to support the HR function
- Managing projects
Delivery
To help apprentices, there will be a variety in the ways they will learn:
- Workplace/workshop learning
- 1 to 1 support from Assessor to Apprentice
- Online learning environment for support throughout the Apprenticeship
- Bi-monthly workshops to cover knowledge
Progression
The Higher Apprenticeship in HR Consultant/Partner Level 5 / CIPD diploma Level 5.
