Duration
The duration of the Level 2 Supply Chain Apprenticeship will be 12-15 months.
It is the responsibility of the employer to ensure every apprentice is given 20% of their paid hours as time to learn.
Qualification
Full Level 2 Foundation Certificate. You may be required to take Functional Skills maths and English at Level 1 if you do not already hold the equivalent GCSE grade 4-9 or (old system A*-C).
Job Role
The Supply Chain Warehouse Operative Apprenticeship is for those who want to play an active and varied role within a warehouse environment.
The role would normally contain a variety of activities including:
- Taking deliveries
- Checking for damaged or missing items
- Loading goods for dispatch
- Maintaining stock records and documentation
- Moving stock using various methods
- Must be able to drive and/or operate Mechanical Handling Equipment (MHE)
- Communicating with a wide range of people and customers
Delivery
To help apprentices, there will be a variety in the ways they will learn:
- Workplace/workshop learning
- 1 to 1 support from Assessor to Apprentice
- Online learning environment for support throughout the Apprenticeship
- Professional and recognised qualification
Progression
You could progress to employment or further training.
