PROWAD Link: Protect and Prosper

This is a project centred on North Norfolk and The Wash. Our vision is that this area is recognised for its wildlife and landscape value and its ability to support a vibrant economy.

We'll work with businesses to recognise and value their location within North Norfolk and The Wash to enable them to be environmentally and financially sustainable. At the same time, we'll support the long-term protection and management of this internationally important wildlife area.

We're working with organisations from Denmark, Germany, the Netherlands and Norway as the project also supports the Wadden Sea and Geiranger Fjord World Heritage sites.

The project is funded by the Interreg VB North Sea Region programme and began in autumn 2018. It will last for three years.
