Foster Carers' Charter

Supporting Norfolk’s foster carers and their families is a key priority for Norfolk County Council. That’s why we have created Norfolk’s first ever Foster Carers’ charter – representing our pledge to those looking after some of the county’s most vulnerable children.

The charter, drawn up in partnership with foster carers, social workers and county councils, formalises Norfolk’s commitment to keep its carers informed, involved and supported. It highlights what foster carers can expect from the County Council and also sets out a series of commitments from Norfolk’s foster carers.
