Duke of Lancaster - New Autism school for North Norfolk

The new all age Autistic Spectrum Condition (ASC) Free school in Fakenham is situated on the former Fakenham Sixth Form site.

The school will be for up to 100 children and young people with autism/complex communication and interaction needs and opened in January 2022 for the first cohort of children and young people.

Special Educational Needs and Disabilities Academics Trust (SENDAT) has been approved by the Department for Education as the sponsor. SENDAT is a local trust currently teaching over 400 students in Suffolk with a wide range of special needs including students with ASC and associated difficulties.
