Sustrans Big Walk and Wheel - 11 to 22 March 2024
Aiming to inspire pupils, staff and parents/carer's to get active on the school run, join the Sustrans inter-school cycling, walking, wheeling and scooting challenge.
NPCC Fatal 4 Operation - 1 to 28 April 2024
The National Police Chiefs Council are running the Fatal 4 Operation with a focus on all vehicle types and road users in relation to the fatal four offences, conducting enforcement and providing education.

Beep Beep! Day - 24 April
Why not take part in a Beep Beep! Day helping young children (aged 2-7) learn important road safety basics, also helping parents, carers and the wider community understand how to protect children on our roads.
National Walking Month - May 2024
During National Walking Month in May, Living Streets encourages people to put their best foot forward and discover the benefits of walking either for their commute to work, school or for leisure.

A national event to raise awareness of the health benefits of walking to and from school.
World Bicycle Day - 3 June 2024
Highlighting the many benefits of cycling, including, health benefits, affordable, clean and as an environmentally fit method of transport.
NPCC 2Wheel Operation - 3 to 16 June 2024
This operation will focus on the safety of cyclists and motorcyclists, who are two of the vulnerable road user groups, and engage with riders about increasing safety and visibility. It promotes safer behaviour amongst all road users who share road space.
Bike Week - 10 to 16 June 2024
A national event aiming to promote cycling and to show how it can easily become part of everyday life. Take part and enjoy the benefits of riding a bike.
Ride to Work Day - 11 June 2024
An international campaign promoted in the UK by The Motorcycle Action Group (MAG). Advocating the use of motorcycles and scooters for travel to work, by providing information about the benefits of utility riding.
Kids Walk - 19 June 2024
Why not join thousands of school children across the UK who will be joining the Brake's Kids Walk, a short, supervised walk which helps to promote important road safety messages.
Clean Air Day - 20 June 2024
The UK's largest air pollution campaign. Led by Global Action Plan working to improve understanding of air pollution, how air pollution affects our health, what we can all do to tackle air pollution, protecting the environment and our health.
NPCC Roads Policing Operation - 1 to 31 July 2024
Collisions for all of the fatal four, HGVs, motorcyclists, and cyclists peak in July. This policing operation will try to make an impact on the number of collisions and KSIs seen during this month.
Cycle to Work Day - 1 August 2024
Cycle to Work day is for everyone, whether you haven't cycled for a while or have never cycled. All the cycling action will be happening in the free Love to Ride online community.
Cycle September - 1 to 30 September 2024
A free, friendly and fun biking challenge for September for yourself, your friends and colleagues at work. Ride anywhere, at any time in September to take part.
Modeshift Travel Wise Week - 16 to 22 September 2024
Modeshift are coordinating Travel Wise Week this year and will have a range of resources available at no cost, encouraging all those who are involved in Modeshift to sign up and log mobility actions delivered.
The Emergency Services Show - 18 to 19 September 2024
The two-day event brings together all areas of the emergency services industry, to discover innovative technology and solutions, share their experiences and unite in their collaborative approach to public safety.

Norfolk Car Free Day - 22 September 2024
An annual event which aims to encourage people to give up their cars for the day, with the hope it may lead to longer term behaviour change. Helping to reduce air pollution, congestion on our roads and promoting sustainable transport. You could use the Car Free Day to host a play streets event which is a national initiative that provides a simple, effective, and low-cost opportunity for children to play out in the streets where they live.
NPCC Fatal Four Opeation: Young Drivers - 23 September to 6 October 2024
This age group is statistically the most likely to be involved in a serious collision so this operation will focus on young drivers aiming to improve road safety through education and enforcement, raising awareness of the 'Fatal Four' for young drivers.

International Walk to School Month - 1 to 31 October 2024
Every October is International Walk to School Month, celebrating walking and wheeling to school and all its benefits. Last year Living Streets asked people to consider the impact traffic pollution makes to climate change, wildlife and habitats worldwide.
NPCC Operation Dark Night - 28 October to 10 November 2024
Focusing on Pedestrians and Horse Riders due to darker nights and poorer visibility and the spike of collisions involving these two vulnerable road user groups. Engaging with pedestrians and horse riders about increasing safety and visibility and promoting safer behaviour amongst all road users who share road space.
Road Safety Week - 17 to 23 November 2024
Road Safety Week aims to inspire schools, organisations, and communities to take action on road safety and promote life-saving messages. Refer to the Brake website to take part and help to raise awareness of road dangers and understanding how we can all make safe, healthy journeys when we travel.
NPCC Operation Limit - 1 to 31 December 2024
There will be increased presence of all Police forces across England and Wales on the UK's roads and intensified enforcement activity with the aim of preventing deaths and serious injuries caused by people who drive while under the influence of drink or drugs.
Project EDWARD - Throughout 2024
Project EDWARD is the biggest platform for showcasing good practice in road safety in the UK. Managed by Projects Zero and backed by government, the emergency services, highways agencies, road safety organisations and British businesses.
The project promotes an evidence-led, 'safe system' approach with the long-term objective, a road traffic system free from death and serious injury and delivers a strategically planned annual programme of activity. 2024's theme is Data-driven Actions for Safer Mobility.
New Rider Hub Campaigns - Ongoing
The National Young Rider Forum has been involved in or supported many campaigns, including Summer Safety Campaign; #FilterFriendly; Know the Dangers; Safe Riding Tips Infographics; Travel Like you know them; Bare Bones; Angry Al! and Street Spirit. The latest campaign is Watch out for Jerks at Junctions.
Ready to Ride - Film
National Young Rider Forum's 'Ready to Ride' is an informative and engaging film which details the steps that a young person needs to take if they are considering becoming a motorcyclist. It covers vital topics such as licensing, PPE, maintaining a motorcycle and riding safely in sections presented by young people themselves.

UKROEd Webinars - Throughout 2024
The role of UKROEd (United Kingdom Road Offender Education) is to assist police forces in offering high-quality courses consistently in all force areas, so as to change behaviour and play an important part in the reduction of collisions, death, and injury to road users.
The Webinars cover varying issues i.e. Mobility; Safe Systems; Post crash care & victim support; young drivers in rapidly changing road environment; technology; road risk and drivers at work.
