Ber Street

August to October 2016

Ber Street saw a number of traffic calming measures made to improve the overall safety of the area as well as its accessibility for pedestrians and cyclists.

This work included:

• Construction of traffic cushions, buildouts, pedestrian Island and parking/loading bays
• Construction of new zebra crossing on existing pelican crossing
• Construction of new gullies and connection pipes
• Resurfacing on the new zebra crossing
• Refreshing of road markings to new standards
