Thorn Lane

July to August 2016

This project was part of the wider work to Golden Ball Street and Westlegate and included the permanent closure of Thorn Lane at its junction with Ber Street.

Access to Thorn Lane is now via Rouen Road.

Work included new kerbing and drainage work, a new footway across the mouth of the existing junction and a new pedestrian refuge island on Ber Street in line with the junction.
