Prince of Wales Road cycle lane

This project delivered a number of pedestrian, cycling and public transport improvements as part of the wider Prince of Wales Road/Rose Lane improvement scheme.

Works included:

• Footway widened on southern side to incorporate new cycle lane
• Bus stop on northern side moved onto carriageway to improve journey times and the layby filled in to create a wider footway
• Upgrading of three pedestrian crossing signals
• Resurfacing from Agricultural Hall Plain to Eastbourne Place
• St Vedast Street resurfaced and the pedestrian crossing signal upgraded.
