Works have been completed to upgrade and improve the waiting facilities and general surroundings at Market Gates Bus Interchange, including:

• New larger bus shelters
• Replacement of pedestrian railings
• Additional cycle parking
• Cladding on the concrete pillars and new information boards
• Improvements to lighting
• Retention of electronic passenger information screens
• Additional wayfinding signage

Why

To provide a more attractive and user-friendly bus interchange, creating a better first impression to those coming into the town by bus.
