Support at work

Support at work

There is lots of support available to help you in work:

  • A job coach gives advice to you and your employer, on how to get the most from you
  • Access to work is help from the government (the people in charge of running the country) to do your job. Download DWP Easy Read guide to get help from Access to Work
  • Specialist employability support is help to get a job and support for six months once you are in work. In Norfolk, this service is provided by Jobcentre Plus
  • Your right to reasonable adjustments. Employers (the person you are working for) must make reasonable adjustments (changing the way they normally do things) so that people with a disability can work there like anybody else
