Adopt from overseas

Some people choose to adopt a child from overseas.

Norfolk Adoption Service has commissioned the Intercountry Adoption Centre (IAC) to work with intercountry adopters on our behalf. You can contact them using the link below.

They can give advice on the process and help you to make a decision about whether intercountry adoption is right for you.

There are significant expenses involved in intercountry adoption which the IAC will be able to advise on.

If after talking to the IAC you are unsure whether intercountry adoption is right for you, you would be welcome to come back and talk to us about being assessed to adopt a child from Norfolk, or elsewhere in the UK.
