Supervision for a child who has been excluded from school
If your foster child is excluded from school, you will need to make sure they are supervised during school hours. This supervision should include a structured programme of activities.
You might provide this supervision yourself, or another carer might provide it for you.
The supervision will need to be in place until:
- The child returns to school, or
- Children's Services arranges alternative full-time education provision
