International Recruitment East has commissioned a programme of free webinar events and 1:1 sessions on a range of key international recruitment topics.

These online events are delivered by our partners who are experienced industry professionals.

Webinars are open to all adult social care providers in the East of England. Some events and training is also targeted at prospective recruits.

If a care provider does not comply to the Home Office international recruitment rules, a sponsor licence can be suspended or revoked.

Norfolk and Waveney International Recruitment Hub

This recruitment hub is a collaborative model developed by Norfolk and Waveney Integrated Care Board and Norfolk County Council.

The model establishes a blueprint for sustainable, ethical recruitment across health and social care for care workers and nurses.  

It is open to providers across the Eastern region rated 'Good' or 'Outstanding' by Care Quality Commission (CQC) or Provider Assessment and Market Management Solution (PAMMS).

Accommodation online events and resources

It is not always easy for international care workers to find affordable accommodation. Our resources are designed to help overcome some of the challenges.

Working together at a local level

We will focus on supporting councils across the region to work collaboratively on accommodation issues for care workers. This work is planned to start from February 2024.

Our accommodation guides will provide links to local resources in the East of England. This includes letting agents and public transport. This will help international recruits to make informed and supported choices around housing. 

Adult social care learning and development events and resources

International Recruitment East asked Hertfordshire Care Providers Association (HCPA) to conduct a survey of to support understanding of overseas workforce needs. The results of this survey are now available. The outcomes are guiding the creation of a training module to support all those in the care sector in the Eastern region.
