Finding and responding to procurement opportunities
When we consider a tender to purchase a service we issue a Prior Information Notice (PIN) on the Official Journal of the European Union's website Tenders Electronic Daily (TED). This will give details of any market engagement event or concept viability events where you can have your say about what we are planning.
We recommend that you register on TED for free alerts about tenders and PINs you may be interested in. You can select your preferences using Common Procurement Vocabulary (CPV) codes.
When there is a tender or quote process you want to bid for you must go into our eSourcing system In-tend, locate the PIN and follow the instructions to express an interest. You can look at the list without registering, but to express an interest you will need to create an account on the system.
You can also see our contract register which lists our contracts, purchase orders and grants (including grants to the voluntary sector), as well as information on contract standing orders in part 7.8 of the Norfolk County Council Constitution.
