Dereham fire station

Dereham fire station is staffed seven days a week, 7am-7pm, by two full-time watches who are also Urban Search and Rescue Technicians.
At all other times, Dereham fire station is staffed by firefighters on an on-call contract. These firefighters are men and women who live or work close to the station and ride the fire appliance when alerted to any fire and rescue incident. The crew consists of a watch manager, four crew managers and 15 firefighters.
The Dereham firefighters attend one training evening a week, they also commit to training courses at Bowthorpe Fire Training and Development Centre to enhance their firefighting skills.
