Congratulations to the Lionesses from Norfolk County Council

Leader of Norfolk County Council, Councillor Andrew Proctor said: "Many congratulations to our brilliant Lionesses for a top class team performance in their Women's European Championship victory last night. A special well done to Norfolk born and raised, Lauren Hemp who was one of the match winning stars. It's a proud moment for Norfolk to see a local woman succeed on the international stage, helping England win the trophy.

The side played breath-taking football from the first whistle and competed to the last minute which is why they thoroughly deserved the win. I'm sure this success can inspire women and girls in Norfolk to get involved in sport and show the world what women can achieve."
