Accessing the SEND Local Offer
We know that not everyone feels confident using information technology. Not every household owns a computer.
Therefore, it is essential we let people know other ways of accessing digital information.
To make the SEND Local Offer accessible to all, the following arrangements are in place:
- You can use the SEND Local Offer website and our Facebook page from a smart mobile phone
- Libraries across Norfolk offer:
- Free internet access and bookable computers for members. Go to computers and wifi at Norfolk Libraries for more information.
- If you need help to get online there are digital support sessions and clubs
- A charged printing facility if you have not got access to the internet at home and need information you can refer to away from the library
- Local SEND support organisations and groups can help you
- Norfolk SEND Information Advice and Support Service can help you navigate the SEND Local Offer
- Making Sense of SEND events take place around the county. They help parents, carers and professionals learn more about SEND services and support
- Family Hubs across the county provide information, advice and help to families with children aged 0-19 (to 25 with SEND)
- SEN co-ordinators, teachers, key workers, services and community groups can also assist and help you
