What is Future Skills NOW?
Future Skills NOW is a partnership between Norfolk County Council and North Norfolk District Council. We aim to identify the skills and training requirements of businesses based within North Norfolk. By addressing these skills barriers, we will assist continued growth for businesses and success for the region.
How Does it Work?
A dedicated Business Skills Coordinator will support interested businesses. They will conduct a Skills Audit to identify any workforce training requirements. The Business Skills Coordinator will suggest courses or providers that might be able to assist. You can use any training provider if they meet the project criteria.
Who could get funding?
The project is for businesses that have 250 employees or fewer. It could fund accredited and non-accredited training courses. The project funds costs of each course, up to 75%, with a maximum of £1,250 per employee with a 25% employer contribution.
How can employers get involved?
Contact us on futureskillsnow@norfolk.gov.uk if you are:
- Looking to upskill your workforce or have identified any training requirements
- Are based in North Norfolk
Our Business Skills Coordinator will then get in touch and make an appointment with you. They will come and see you to discuss your requirements.
