AtoBetter Car Free Day Terms And Conditions
World Car Free Day (WCFD), Sunday 22nd September 2024, is an annual event that aims to encourage people to give up their car for the day and find alternative ways of getting around. With the road closed, children are able to play in their local area without worrying about traffic and street parties can be arranged. As part of World Car Free Day, Norfolk County Council are waiving the fee that it would normally cost to close your road for the day.
AtoBetter would like to help encourage road closures on WCFD by offering residents on our developments the added incentive of £100, per road, towards their street party. This could be used to purchase refreshments, equipment or games for example.
You'll need to first apply for a road closure on the Norfolk County Council and receive confirmation. Once permission is received you will need to get in touch with us by completing the survey on our webpage. You will be able to let us know in the survey where you would like the voucher(s) purchased from, up to the maximum of £100.
- Local companies
- A supermarket voucher
- An Amazon voucher
In addition to the voucher, AtoBetter are offering a limited number of developments the option of a free Dr. Bike session on a first come first served basis.
For more information on WCFD and to request a road closure please see Norfolk County Council's Webpage: Norfolk Car Free Day
