Volunteering opportunities
Volunteers and peer supporters play a crucial role in strengthening communities, offering their time and skills to support those in need and driving positive change. There are a range of volunteering opportunities available across Norfolk.
Parent Champion volunteers
Parent Champions are parent/carer volunteers who give a few hours a week to talk to other parents about the local services and opportunities available to families.
You will be making a vital contribution to the lives of families you come across and to your wider community.
"Being a Parent Champion enables me to integrate into the community, it provides an opportunity to speak to people, get out of the house more and find out about all the lovely opportunities Norfolk has to offer.
...my role as Parent Champion provided me a sense of belonging with a support group of other volunteers and staff to turn to if I had any questions."
NH became a Parent Champion volunteer in October 2022
