Some are free and some are subscription-based. Sometimes, subscription sites offer free trials so you can try before you buy or offer a level of free resources.

Study aids
You can buy textbooks and workbooks that complement particular exam boards. These are available through reputable bookshops or online.
You can also download and print off past exam papers with mark schemes from many of the exam board websites. These may be useful for exam practice or to consolidate learning and understanding.

Functional Skills
Functional Skills courses in English and Maths are an alternative to GCSEs. They focus on workplace literacy and numeracy. You can access them from Entry Level up to Level 2.
You can book and complete exams online, at home. At Level 2, a Functional Skills pass is the equivalent of a Grade 4 at GCSE.
