Organisational performance framework

Performance management is about practical ways the Council can improve what it does. It looks at what the Council delivers in terms of good quality services that meet the needs of local people. The ability to manage performance is critical to our success.

The aim of this framework is to ensure performance follows a consistent approach across all departments. The framework allows for corporate oversight of performance management. This will help us provide an overview of:

• The systems and culture by which we shall achieve our Organisational and Directorate Plans
• The minimum standards required to achieve our aims
