Affected by suicide
If you have been affected by a suicide, there is support and resources available to you.
- Norfolk and Waveney Mind Suicide Bereavement Service - for adults (18+) bereaved and affected by suicide in Norfolk and Waveney. The service includes Group Suicide Bereavement support for adults and young people, 1:1 support, and Suicide Bereavement Cafés. Call 0300 330 5488 and select option 1 or email rictriage@norfolkandwaveneymind.org.uk. Alternatively, you can complete a self-referral form on the website

- Support After Suicide Partnership - A network of organisations that support people who have been bereaved or affected by suicide
- Nelson's Journey - Supports children and young people in Norfolk who have experienced the death of a significant person. Call 01603 431788 or email enquiries@nelsonsjourney.org.uk to get in touch
- Empathy - an independent, Norwich based community group that provides support for people in Norfolk who have been bereaved, or personally affected, by someone ending their own life. Email empathynorfolk@gmail.com
- First Hand - resources for anyone affected by witnessing a suicide, who did not know the person who has died. This may be because someone happened to be at a particular location or responded to these incidents while at work.
