Meal deliveries 'meals on wheels'
You can get hot and cold meals delivered to your door. This kind of service is often called meals on wheels. Search for meal delivery services:

Food shop deliveries
Many supermarkets, food shops and Morrisons at Amazon, can deliver food to your door if you order online on their websites.
Morrisons Doorstep Delivery service is a telephone shopping service. You can place an order by phone and it will be delivered. The British Red Cross may also help with your food shopping if you have been unwell.
Getting to a food shop
Get help with transport if you are struggling to get to the shop/s for food.
Check what local community transport is available using your address.
Help during your shopping trip
Supermarkets may offer an assisted shopping service to help you shop. Check with your supermarket to see if it's something they do. If they offer it, you'll need to book this in advance, so staff are available.
Lunch clubs
Lunch clubs and coffee mornings help you get out of the house and enjoy a meal with others.

Dementia cafes
Dementia cafes can help people with dementia connect with their community. This may not mean a main meal, but coffee and cakes for example.

Getting kitchen equipment
If you are in financial hardship and cannot pay your living costs, we can supply essential reused kitchen appliances, such as a fridge, freezer or cooker if you are eligible.
