First Bus

You will need to apply directly to East Norfolk Sixth Form College if you live more than one mile from the college and live within the First Bus Great Yarmouth Town zone or Coastal zone. Please see First Bus zone maps.

The pass will cost £124 per term, for term time use only, but will include weekend and evening use. Find timetables on the First bus website. 

Students living within the First Bus Great Yarmouth zone or Coastal zone requiring unlimited yearly use will need to apply direct to First Bus and will be subject to their costs. Visit First Bus for information on ticket offers and pricing.

Border Bus

You will need to apply directly to the college if you require a Border Bus pass for routes from Halesworth, Harleston, Bungay or Beccles. View the Suffolk Bus Timetable. The pass will cost £124 per term, for term time use only until 10 July 2025, but will include weekday and Saturday use.

To qualify for free travel on either of the above term time only services, you will need to be in receipt of qualifying benefits and will need to have applied and been approved for the East Norfolk Sixth Form College's Bursary Fund. Learn more about the bursary fund.

You need to be travelling on a core route to qualify for support.

For 2024/25, passes cost £372 per year and are for Monday to Friday use only during term time. Instalment options are available at £124 per term, or £62 per half-term. Please note that if the annual or termly options are selected it is not possible to change to half termly option for the summer term. These are proposed costs and subject to confirmation - please check our website for updates.

If you are in receipt of one of the qualifying benefits, then transport will be free but you must send valid proof of benefit to Travel & Transport Services with your application. You must also apply for East Norfolk Sixth Form College's Discretionary Fund. Visit the East Norfolk Sixth Form College website and fill in an application form which needs to be returned to the College along with the proof.

Students living outside of the zone will have to choose the most appropriate boarding point and make their own arrangements prior to this point.
