Council prepares to celebrate the county at the Royal Norfolk Show
Norfolk County Council are making final preparations for the Royal Norfolk Show, taking place on the 28 and 29 June 2023. The theme this year is Unlocking Your Potential and we will be showcasing the best the council, and the county, has to offer.
The Royal Norfolk Show brings over 80,000 people to the Norfolk Showground over two days and provides a £20 million economic benefit to Norfolk each year.
Cllr Fabian Eagle, Cabinet Member for Economic Growth, said: "We're thrilled to once again be exhibiting all the services and support that Norfolk County Council has on offer. The Norfolk Show really demonstrates the diverse range of businesses that the county is home to, and we are really keen to hear from businesses to offer the support they need to thrive and be able to unlock their potential."
Cllr Chris Dawson, Member Champion for the Rural Economy, said: "The Norfolk Show really highlights out rural economy. It's the largest two-day agricultural show in the UK and has been running for more than 175 years. From large agricultural machinery, through to locally produced food and drink, these two days in June really show off the best our county has to offer."
