The registration offices are located on the first floor of the Library and are accessible by a lift.

Opening times

The office is open by appointment only. If you turn up without an appointment you will not be able to speak to a registrar. There are administrative staff at the Archive Centre Norwich and the King's Lynn Office from Monday to Friday and also the Great Yarmouth Office from Tuesday to Thursday.

On rare occasions offices may be closed due to circumstances beyond our control.

Monday to Friday 09.30am to 4.30pm

Closed for lunch 12.45pm to 1.45pm

Some Saturdays 10.00am to 4.00pm

Closed for lunch 12.45pm to 1.15pm

Parking

There is road parking just outside the Library, and large carparks nearby. Please do not park in the Library car park, this is for employees only.

Accessibility

There is a public lift accessible in order to access the Registration Office, which is on the second floor. There is a disabled toilet available on the ground floor.

Marriage and civil partnership ceremonies

We hold ceremonies in the Rumbelow Gallery at Great Yarmouth Library. There are lots of other approved venues the Great Yarmouth area. View the full list of approved Norfolk venues.
