Curriculum
A school curriculum outlines the content and sequencing of the knowledge and skills children will be taught. Schools and Academies design their own curriculum and must publish details of this on their school website.
Religious education (RE) must be provided for all registered pupils in full-time education except those withdrawn at their parents' request. For most schools this will follow the Religious education agreed syllabus, or reflect the religious designation of the school.
All local authority maintained schools, and most academies, will include the content of the national curriculum in their curriculum design.
