Housing help and advice

Housing problems

Sometimes you may experience issues with your accommodation. This makes living in the accommodation difficult or dangerous. For example:

  • Damp or mould
  • Neighbour issues
  • Overcrowding
  • Risk of violence

Some problems can lead to the risk of losing your home and becoming homeless if they are not dealt with. These include, but are not limited to:

  • Overdue payment or non-payment of your rent or mortgage
  • Anti-social behaviour
  • Noise complaints

If you experience any of these issues then you should seek advice straight away.
