Workplace stress control and wellbeing
As part of the nationwide NHS Improving Access to Psychological Therapies (IAPT) programme, the Norfolk and Suffolk Wellbeing Service is offering stress control taster sessions and full courses for employers and their staff.
The IAPT programme is designed to reduce stress related absence from work, which can be achieved by providing people with tools and strategies to manage their stress levels more effectively.
This course will support people to manage their stress both at work and at home, as well as letting people know how to access further support within the Wellbeing Service if they require it.
Stress control taster session
This two hour session covers understanding stress, what keeps stress going and how to manage stress. The session also provides information on what else the Wellbeing Service can offer.
This free course can be delivered at workplaces at a suitable time - wherever possible we will be flexible to fit in with the needs of your organisation.
Full course
This course goes into more detail around the management of stress and how to take control of our body, thoughts and actions, as well as addressing panic and sleep.
It's delivered for free at your workplace in four 90-minute sessions over four weeks. Again, wherever possible we will be flexible to fit in with the needs of your organisation.
