Our Business Board for Norfolk is a partnership between:

Aims of the Business Board

We want the Norfolk Business Board to:

  • Drive an economy that is vibrant, entrepreneurial, inclusive, and sustainable
  • Support our economy with the right jobs, skills, training, and infrastructure
  • Work well for our businesses and people, giving everyone the best opportunities for success

Business Board members

The board will bring together business representatives with education and local government. Representatives will be from across:

  • A range of business sectors
  • Different areas in Norfolk
  • Norfolk areas of different sizes and populations

Together, the board will provide a strong, independent, and diverse local voice. This will help to inform decision making for the county.   

The collective expertise of the group will:

  • Shape our strategic thinking
  • Steer programmes of work that we put in place to support the economy
  • Help us influence at a local and national level to get the best for Norfolk

We are currently recruiting business representatives to join the Norfolk Business Board.

We want to be transparent about how we work. So, when the board launches later in 2024, you will be able to see information about our meetings. This will include what we say and agree at them.

We will also publish pictures and information about who is on our board.
