Help to complete the SEND survey

How we can support you to complete the Norfolk SEND survey in 2025.

The SEND surveys are available to complete online. We can offer support to help you complete the survey online and provide alternative versions and formats.

Alternative versions and formats 

Children and young people's survey, for those aged 25 and younger

Online

There are four ways children and young people can view their online survey and complete it:

  • Standard text
  • Widget - words with symbols
  • Easy Read - words with pictures
  • Group response version

Paper

We can supply a paper copy of the children and young people's survey in standard text, widget or Easy Read format. Email send@norfolk.gov.uk to ask for a copy in your preferred format.

Braille

We can provide a Braille version of the children and young people's survey. Email send@norfolk.gov.uk and ask for a copy.

Parent carers' survey

We can provide a paper version of the parent carers' survey or a paper version with the questions in your own language. Email send@norfolk.gov.uk to ask for a copy in your preferred format.

Free wi-fi and computer access

All 47 of Norfolk's libraries provide free use of computers and public wi-fi access.

Get support from the SEND Local Offer team

Our SEND Local Offer team can:

  • Support you over the telephone to complete the survey
  • Find someone in your local community to help

Get support from Norfolk SEND IASS

The friendly engagement and advice workers at Norfolk SEND IASS (Information, Advice and Support Service) regularly visit Norfolk libraries. They can help you to complete the SEND survey and give advice on your child's support needs.

Get support from Your Tech Skills for Life team

During January and February 2025, community tech coaches can help you to complete the SEND survey. The team will be at venues across the north, east and west of Norfolk and can offer face-to-face support.

Our friendly community tech coaches can help you to access laptops, tablets and internet data and give advice about affordable broadband. They can also teach you skills to make technology easier to use and give you the confidence to use the internet safely. Best of all, it's free!

The Your Tech Skills for Life team will be at the following locations on various dates to help you.

Get support from family hubs

Parent carers can go to a family hub for support to complete the SEND survey. Families can drop-in anytime, Monday to Friday, 8.30am-4.30pm.
