Cycle theory offers support and an introduction to the practical Bikeability training courses.

Aims

Who it's for

Our cycle theory sessions are suitable for primary and secondary school students.

We offer sessions at different levels for different year groups.

Course details

We deliver the sessions live, via Microsoft Teams. Sessions run for approximately 45 - 60 minutes.

We can deliver sessions to:

  • A single class
  • Multiple classes
  • Children in home education or in other group settings

Cycle theory for primary schools

This online session is suitable for key stage 2 (children in years 3, 4, 5 and 6).

It improves understanding and knowledge of how to be a safe and responsible cyclist.

Cycle theory for secondary schools

This online session is suitable for key stage 3 (young people in years 7, 8 and 9).

It builds on students understanding and knowledge of being safe and independent cyclists. This is particularly as they cycle independently and use more complex roads.

Cost

These sessions are free.

Norfolk County Council Public Health funds them.
